5 Lost Treasures from Sci-fi's Golden Age

Rate This Product :

5 Lost Treasures from Sci-fi's Golden Age Overview

I’ll make a confession to you. Although I love sci-fi more than any other genre on the face of the earth, I have trouble watching many of the latest sci-fi movies made for TV or the theaters.

That’s because most of them are based on special effects and action instead of strong stories plots. This is not surprising considering I was weaned on the classic Sci-fi of the 20th century, which reached its apex in the 1950s and 1960s.

And although I was born at the tail end of that golden era that spawned “I, Robot,” “Who Goes There” and Richard Matheson’s horror-sci-fi classic “I am Legend,” I have made it my business to dig up and read the well-known as well as the most obscure gems of vintage hardcore science fiction!

To that end, I have hunted down these 5 gems – and thrown in a bonus story – for you to savor in this 250-page beautifully illustrated volume. They were selected with the hardcore fan in mind, who is sure to appreciate such stories as “Cry from a Far Planet,” which leads with “Trust no alien being under any circumstances,” motto, or what hardcore fan wouldn’t love “Mercenary,” which is a visionary piece written long ago that rings so true today!

3 Lost Vintage Pulp Sci-Fi Masterpieces From 1930s to 1960s Overview

There was a time when the world was filled with realistic hope about a future driven by science and technology.

Cynicism, malaise and boredom hadn’t yet taken over the Sci-Fi pulp of the 1930s to the 1960s.
Here are 3 vintage masterpieces I have rediscovered, which span these 920 pages, including the original awe-inspiring illustrations.

I hope you thoroughly enjoy the “Galaxy Primes,” “The Skylarks of Space” and “Spacehounds of IPC.”

Real Stories of Ghouls, Werewolves & Other Shapeshifters Based on Historical Records (Vol. 1)

Real Stories of Ghouls, Werewolves & Other Shapeshifters Based on Historical Records (Vol. 1)

Rate This Product :

Real Stories of Ghouls, Werewolves & Other Shapeshifters Based on Historical Records (Vol. 1) Overview

The unspoken horror and pure evil that surrounds such creatures as ghouls, werewolves and other shapeshifters, like were-tigers and were-hyenas, lurk in the darkest canyons of our primeval instincts.

Yet, it is astonishing that in our present age of serial killers, murderous savagery and rampant terrorism that tales of these foul creatures are discounted and disbelieved -- even laughed at.

I am not laughing.

The documented cases from various credible sources you’ll find in this 99-page, finely-illustrated volume, published exclusively for Kindle, will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

If nothing else, you will get a true sense of the dark side of reality, the evil that lurks sometimes waiting patiently to pounce on the innocent and pure when they least expect it.

While this work is meant to be entertaining, in reality, it is also meant to be sobering. It is my wish that you find it at the very least stimulating and interesting. And, oh yes, horrifying.

Extreme UFO Encounters Based On Newly Declassified X-Files

Extreme UFO Encounters Based On Newly Declassified X-Files

Rate This Product :

Extreme UFO Encounters Based On Newly Declassified X-Files Overview

This is the first group in a series of articles investigating recently reported X-files from several government.

In August 2009, when the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence released 15 years of reported UFO incidents that occurred in Britain, the mainstream media latched on to a few of the most sensational cases and ran with them.

The mainstream media also carefully added that Britain’s Defence Ministry concluded that UFOs posed no clear and present danger to its citizens.

After reviewing many of the 800 plus cases released, the author is not willing to agree with UK’s Ministry of Defence.

If you consider reports of UFO being able to penetrate air space and military bases with impunity, their beams burning holes into box cars and aliens trying to abduct children a real threat to health and home, then you will join me in concluding that these cases open a Pandora’s Box to chilling fear and apprehension rather than producing a calming effect.

More than 95% of the reported cases are explainable phenomena such as mistaken military aircraft, satellites or meteors. In this short but interesting report, I have focused on 5% of the incidents that can be classified as “extreme UFO incidents.” These are the incidents where strong evidence points toward the likelihood of an encounter with intelligent beings of unknown origin. Whether they are friendly or hostile is still an open question.
